Disperse Dyes
Disperse dyes are a type of non-ionic dyes with strong hydrophobicity. They usually have a small relative molecular mass, a simple structure, and do not contain water-soluble groups, but always contain some strong polar groups, such as hydroxyl, amino, and various substituted hydroxyl, amino, etc., so they have only very low water solubility. Therefore, when dyeing with disperse dyes, they must be made into a uniform dispersion with the help of a dispersant in order to dye the fiber. It is also named for this reason.
