Solvent Dyes

Solvent dyes are named because they are insoluble in water but easily soluble in various organic solvents. According to the properties of organic solvents, they can be divided into oil-soluble dyes and alcohol-soluble dyes. Among the solvent dyes currently produced, most are oil-soluble dyes, and there are fewer varieties of alcohol-soluble dyes.

The application areas of solvent dyes mainly include the coloring of fuel oil, petroleum products, grease, paraffin and its wax products, polymer resins and plastics, color fluorescent coatings, metal surfaces, wood, varnish, ink, shoe polish, jacket oil, ballpoint pen ink, etc. It can also be used as a functional dye for the coloring of high-tech materials such as solar collectors, photosensitive materials, CD recording materials, drug tracers, chemical and biochemical analysis, and laser technology.
